Adair formed two companies to increase the value of his investment; Atlanta Street Railway Company provided trolley access and Atlanta Real Estate Company continued to purchase and develop Atlanta property. The Adair Park subdivision, located just 10 minutes southwest of downtown, was designed and sold in lots to residential buyers just after the turn of the century. Today, the community still very much represents the era of its development. Properties are characterized by mature landscaping and varied architectural styles, including Craftsman, Queen Anne, Gothic Revival and Folk Victorian.
